Some of you have asked about coordinating rides & hotel rooms. I realize that this comes late, but this blog may be the best way to do it. Post in the four categories below to coordinate, & if you don't want to post phone numbers and e-mail addresses, write me to get each other's.

Rides to Poughkeepsie/Millbrook in cars

If you have room for people in your car & want to share gas costs, or if you want to travel by car, post here. The Route 9 hotels are within minutes of each other, so you don't have to be staying in the same place.

Room for people to dress in hotel rooms

Several people who are taking the train to NY after the wedding want to share a taxi from the train with and share space in hotel rooms just before the wedding to get dressed. Taxis to hotels

Post comments here about sharing taxis from the Poughkeepsie train station to the hotels . Not sure about the taxi situation in Poughkeepsie. Don't count on coming out of the train station and finding a whole line of taxis, but this link is to the yellow pages on car services in Poughkeepsie. Train times in comments.
